Homemade peas with beef

First, I cut the beef into cubes, then the onion and carrot. I add a little fat to the pot and fry the onion until it becomes glassy, ​​then add the carrot and beef, brown it briefly and pour 700ml of beef broth.

I simmer until the meat is soft, then I add the peas and cook for another twenty minutes. I season it with paprika, pepper and salt, and at the end I add a spoonful of flour mixed in water so that it thickens nicely.

Ingredients:

  • 500G Beef (cubes)
  • 400G of frozen frigloserbia peas
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of oil or fat
  • 700ML of broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of thickener + a little cold water

Method of preparation:

Fry the onion, then add the pre-chopped carrot and garlic, and then add the beef cubes. Then pour broth and add bay leaves, then simmer until the meat becomes soft. Add peas, cook for 15-20 minutes, thicken, if necessary, add spices and lunch is ready.
